CPY Shines in Jacksonville with Baron Baptiste

What do you get when 23 CPY flow junkies hit the road for Baron's master class in Jacksonville? A big fat YES! Clad in orange tanks and a sheen of glowing sweat we were hard to miss as we chataranga-ed our way into Baron's heart. Who doesn't love a gang of traveling yoginis, and Ray of course:) If you've never taken a class with Baron, put it up high on your bucket list. He is a powerful, grounded, authentic teacher and being who speaks into each and every student in a way that let's you know he sees you, he's connected, and he's inspiring! We opened our hearts to possibility with each and every backbend and had so much fun sharing the space with 150 other Southern Baptiste Power Yogis. We are ready NOW for Baron to Light up our amazing community, and once we focus on something, we can't be stopped. Check out Charleston Power Yoga on Upper King St for sweaty asana and powerful transformations 32x a week. And stay tuned, we have a feeling Baron might just decide Charleston is worth checking out, and not just for our Shrimp and Grits. www.charlestonpoweryoga.com

Buy Local at Charleston Power Yoga

This Upper King St Power Yoga Studio is owned by two local gals, Beth Thomas and Sarah Frick, who also happen to be lovers of all things local. As members of Lowcountry Locals First, they know what it means to open a business without corporate backing or big wallets, and they go out of their way to eat local, shop local and even stock their retail with locally made items! Stop by their retail boutique before/after classes or 11-4 on Saturdays to pick up an Easter gift, birthday/wedding gift, or a little something for yourself! Their local lines include Rewined soy based candles created to represent your favorite wine varietal, Rose Knot handmade yoga mat bags created from recycled fabrics in fun, funky prints, and Theodosia Jewelry featuring delicate gold chain necklaces with jewels or yoga pendants. Visit Charleston Power Yoga at 557 King St beside Midtown Bar and Grill to get your sweat on, and support some local artists while you're there. And remember, first class is always free for locals!
